Maria Angela Borras, PTRP provides us with a glimpse of what a Sports Physical Therapist does. She shares her experience of how she got into sports PT, a memorable incident in the field, and what it takes to be a good sports PT. She also describes to us what OCR is and what her role as a Rehabilitation Coach in the OCR Pilipinas team entails. She discussed the Sports Special Interest Group of PPTA and the Post-grad course on Sports Physical Therapy by the UP Sports Physical Therapy Clinic. And lastly, she gives some pieces of advice to colleagues who want to get into the field of Sports PT. Anj Borras is the Clinical Director of UP College of Human Kinetics Sports Physical Therapy Clinic, the Chairperson for the Philippine Physical Therapy Association Sports Special Interest Group, and credentialed as Sports Injury Specialist from National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines Manila.
