Assist. Prof. Marvin Zotomayor, MSPT, CNMT, PTRP earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership and Management from the De La Salle University. He is a Part-time faculty in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Manila Adventist College in their Physical Therapy departments. He is also the Chief Physical therapist at JNRAL Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a Home health PT Consultant at TheraHub. Inc.
We talked about failures and moving past it, changes in the PT curriculum and how it affects the board exam. We also talked about where he found his passion in teaching, how he adapts his teaching style with his students' learning style, the current situation of PT education in this pandemic and the different strategies that educators can implement. Lastly, we talk about some key concepts in instructional design, importance of alignment, and essential learning competencies.
